Armwood Forward Kristina DeJesus Heads Into Her Senior Season

As girls’ basketball gets underway, we’re getting to know some of the players around Tampa Bay. Armwood forward Kristina DeJesus is one name we’re following.

Her published game log includes an outing worth a look. Against Steinbrenner on January 16, she recorded 14 points, 13 rebounds and two steals. Armwood lost 58–33, but her individual performance gives us a starting point for following her senior season.

She also attracted attention this fall. In an October showcase report, scout Brandon Fisher described DeJesus finishing at the rim with her left hand, reading the floor as a passer and disrupting plays on defense.

Those details are what put DeJesus on our radar here at WHH Sports. We want to learn more about her role at Armwood Basketball, what she has worked on since last season, and what she hopes to accomplish before graduating.

DeJesus is a Class of 2027 forward at Armwood. As the new season begins, we’ll be following her and the Hawks, watching how they play together and what they build on from last year. You can see her player profile here.

What are you looking forward to seeing from Armwood’s girls this season?
